Last weekend I had the grand fun of participating in the 48 Hour Audio Drama Festival. It's modelled after The 48 Hour Film Festival, same basic idea only with audio dramas. In fact there's quite a bit of crossover between folks in the industry and the audio drama world.
We writers had 14 hours to put a script together with a given theme, prompt, and prop, a strict 20 page script, plus a stellar cast of eight actors and one incredible audio engineer.
This is my group's episode, "Through The Dreamglass." Remember it's essentially a first draft, but I think we did pretty damn good. The cast and audio engineer brought it like fire.
